My retrieval aparatus to retrieve my boats and planes when they are stuck in the middle of the lake, this unit works very well. thanks for watching and happy boating and flying to ya.. This is our 4th attempt at the best recovery boat in the world at this time i think we nailed it. there twin 90mm edf units with 36mm motors at 1600kv.. The little boat is used to drag a line or string to a dead boat and loop around it. then you reel in the line (attached to the retrieve boat), and along comes your dead boat also! the big drawback to that boat was that it was always getting water in the electronics..
Rc retrieval boats just dont work in some cases. if the boat is far out, its almost impossible to line up the retrieval boat to the downed boat to get it back 05-01-2011, 09:28 pm #6 justinl. Let's see some retrieval boats i'm in the process of building a retrieval boat using a blast as the backbone. i dont want to permanently alter the blast. good for excercise, fishing, and retrieving my rc boat! 06-21-2012, 04:34 am #4. leorx. view profile view forum posts rc enthusiast join date may 2012 posts 26.. Merge both techniques and create the ultimate boat retrieval system! accuracy is assured by using a electric boat to go out to the stalled gas boat, and having the boat tethered allows you to bring both boats back to the shore in a short amount of time..
