The boat took about 4 month of off and on work to build. it weighs about 200 pounds so its a pretty solid boat. i am yet to get the boat on the water since it just turned winter so stay tuned for. A stitch and glue boat that size typically doesn't need a jig. if the panels are lofted correctly the boat will take it's shape when they're stitched together.. sometimes a temporary spreader is placed between the gunnels at the point of maximum beam but that's about it..
